I don’t always write about such things as they are very personal to me and can only be read usually in my jourrnal. I have wondered about sharing them more publicly so this might not be the last time to do this. Here is what I wrote:
This morning I was listening to Radio 4, Untold Stories, about a Scot and an Azeri Syrian refugee. I was moved to tears which caused me to pray for him and all like him. I saw something when he described the war in Syria.
What I saw was like a dream but whilst awake. There was spiritual war going on behind all the detestable things and here I was in relative peace contrasted. It was like I wasn’t in a war but yet am part of something bigger. I in my freedom have a responsibility to intercede. It was like a window opened up. Not that I am exempt from spiritual warfare just at that moment I saw that he was in it more than I. That there is continuous spiritual activity taking place around us.
Seeing it in a fresh way gave me the desire to push on. That I can also use these things I hear and read as stepping stones to connect with Father God and join in bringing about love on this earth through intercession.
