Yesterday I listened to the podcast which you can see below. This podcast is a regular one which you can hear via the BBC iPlayer or in my case Podbean. It is Tweet of the Day.
I first came across Tweet Of The Day when I was listening to a book based on the same title. The book was on Audible and was rather delightful.
The original version dealt with the songbirds of Britain. Each chapter or episode was about one specific bird and how that bird had impacted the authors of the said book and shares character traits of each individual bird with songs – particularly with the audible version.
I am not sure how long Tweet Of The Day has been running but it is a worthwhile listen and only takes up a very short amount of time. A couple of minutes.
My notifications highlighted this particular one on my phone. I hadn’t listened to any for some time but this was on a subject that is current and regards the First World War.
I have been listening to Homefront on the BBC Radio IPlayer over the last few years. The last episode occurred just this last weekend so WWI is very much in my thinking and so is thought about memory and Remembrance.
This specific podcast deals with birds during the war and so without further ado I recommend this one to you. It Highlights something that I had not come across before in regards to the war which I found particularly moving.
