For those of you who know me you know I like listening to the Blurry Creatures Podcast. This is a podcast about the paranormal if you will or the unseen world from a Christian Perspective. It will stretch your mind and challenge you to consider things differently. Nate and Luke who host it don’t claim to be experts. They are exploring and they do this through interviewing people who have experienced the unseen and those who have knowledge on pertinent subjects related to these matters and some in the middle. I came across it during my gardening work in the lockdowns of 2020. I was hooked and a little scared I admit too, yet encouraged at the same time as it’s not just about the ‘bad’ paranormal.
The one I listened to towards the end of July 2025 was about autistic kids who are experiencing Jesus and communicating with each other through ‘telepathy’. The show hosts interview Joseph Infranco who has been involved in another podcast called the telepathy tapes which looks at the data out there about these kids.
This is a fascinating subject and well worth a listen check out both podcasts here for the Telepathy Tapes and here for the specific episode I refer to on Blurry Creatures.
The first three episodes of the Telepathy Tapes involve interactions with the parents of young people who are mainly non-verbal and neurodivergent. The conversations on the tapes consider what the young people experience and how they can communicate this to mainly their loved ones. The podcast takes into account skepticism about such matters and how the interviews are set up to be as scientific as possible.
Joe has also written a book about the subject which can be found here. It will be released in November of this year (2025).
I had taken a break from the ‘blurry-verse’ as Nate and Luke describe the unseen world as it was consuming me. I wasn’t sure I could handle it. I needed to ask The Lord for discernment. The whole subject is one that needs to be weighed carefully. Having a good grounding in the Bible is important here. For more on the unseen world subject see my supernatural drop down menu. The recent posts that I have listened to and highly recommend in what is spoken about are in order:
- Episode 290 about Cody W’s experience with ‘men in black’ an UAP and a ‘dark’ spiritual force and how he countered that.
- Episode 308 interviewing John Eldredge from Wild at heart which was helpful in identifying how intimacy with God through a relationship with him enables us to experience Him more. More about the good side of the unseen realm on this episode.
- Episode 339 interviewing Lee Strobel about his new book Seeing the supernatural (also heard on Sean McDowell’s podcast).
- Episode 316 interviewing John Burke who researches and interviews those who have had a Near Death Experience.
Note these can also be listened to on other podcast providers.
