In writing about the Blurry Creatures Podcast recently I came across a British guy speaks about the paranormal on shows in the UK and the US. I am taking a look at some of his work. His name is Matthew Arnold and he is a parapsychologist and a Christian at that!

I have found out more about Matt on his own website where he seems to be transparent about what he does and who he is. I came across him initially in a piece he wrote on near death experiences (NDE’s) on Christianity magazine’s website. He has also written a book which has a great cover in my opinion – another for the reading list:
In his interview he speaks about his sense of calling to what he does and why he does it. This calling in part is in revealing things about the paranormal and how we need to face up to it as Christians in our current culture.
I also heard a piece of his speaking on a Catholic Father’s podcast about the paranormal where he comes across very sound. In fact he was asked a question what to do in a situation when confronted with something spiritual i.e. a spirit. I said under my breath ‘test the spirit’s’ and he said that a few seconds after I’d whispered it. I know that’s not enough to convince everyone that he’s kosher but it helps!
On a related issue I listened to one of my favourite seers whilst working this morning. (Favourite as he’s wise and humble in my opinion). He also spoke of what he sees in the unseen realm. It was an eye opening video interview. The name of the guy I refer to is Blake Healey who has written a number of books of his experiences which I have read a couple of.
