I wanted to share a bit of where I am at. Both yesterday’s post and today’s share a similar theme.
There is so much I would like to read and watch like the books by my bed, on my devices and stuff to watch on internet and YouTube but I dont have time. Most of all I need time with God and this gets pushed out because of the above.
Looking in Hebrews which is probably a favourite at present I see this:
Hebrews 8:11 NET
“ And there will be no need at all for each one to teach his countryman or each one to teach his brother saying , ‘ Know the Lord , ’ since they will all know me , from the least to the greatest .
Very relevant. Curious to know the tense here. To my mind it’s are able to know. See what Greek says in Strongs numbers.
11 And G2532 they shall G1321 not G3364 teach G1321 every man G1538 his G846 neighbour G4139, and G2532 every manG1538 his G846 brother G80, saying G3004, Know G1097 the Lord G2962: for G3754 all G3956 shall know G1492 me G3165, from G575 the least G3398 G846 to G2193 the greatest G3173 G846.
Jeff Benner in his work (sorry the gaps should have symbols but they get missed when copying) has this definition (incidently Jeff is endeavouring to encourage more Hebraic thinking hence the translation from the Greek with Strongs numbers into his numbering system)
Grk#:1097 / ghin-oce-ko (verb): Know Freq:&223
Heb#:3045 עדי / ya-da (verb): Know—To have an intimate and personal understanding; to have an intimate relationship with another person, usually sexual.
Take note of this. The Greek word is not picked up by Jeff Benner for 1492 but the word in Strongs has two roots and is as follows below, both having the same meaning. The seeing God line is exciting, here it is:
Grk#:3700 / op-tan-om-ahee (verb): See/Appear 58
Heb#:7200 האר / ra-ah (verb): See—To take notice; to perceive something or someone; to see visions. {The Greek word may also be the translation of the niphil (passive) form of the Hebrew verb האר meaning “be seen,” or “appear.”}
Grk#:3708 / hor-ah-o (verb): See Freq:&59
Heb#:7200 האר / ra-ah (verb): See—To take notice; to perceive something or someone; to see visions.
Now there’s a promise. The English translations don’t really draw that out. I want to believe that and hold onto that. How about you?

Jonathan Welton’s Scool of the seers is a book on this and I was all out to revisit it and I heard the quiet voice of the Lord in the shower whilst thinking about the matter – learn from me! That’s what this is about, for everyone – learning directly from Him. The Holy Spirit is our teacher, guide and helper. He knows what we need most.
