Job 33:15 : In the Old Testament of the Bible, God often used dreams or visions to speak to people (Num 12:6). He sometimes spoke directly in the dreams (Gen 15:12–16; 31:11), resulting in a dialogue between the dreamer and God (Gen 20:3–7; 1 Kgs 3:5–15). Other times, dreams were vague and required interpretation (Gen 37:5–8; 40:5–8). (Faithlife Study Bible)
On this page I seek to share what I dream about and how observing and recording my dreams has influenced me for good. Hopefully this may have an impact on you – the reader. For the first of the blogs click here.
My goal is that you may know Christ Jesus and for you to be reconciled with your heavenly Father. Experience him through reading about my dreams and their interpretation and know that he is calling you and I to be part of his family. To know freedom through him to be the person he intends you to be – one fully alive! I want to make a bold claim here, without having the framework of some biblical understanding and a supernatural worldview I don’t think my dreams would have made as much sense as they do.

It would be good to say at this point that what I believe is true, hope can only be found in Jesus Christ. It is probably trite to say but he is the answer to all your dreams and their interpretations – ultimately! How to get to that point may take some unpacking.
There is still stuff I don’t understand about what I dream, what I mean by that is I have to hold loosely some of the things I believe that God has spoken to me through dreams or what I have grasped in my understanding. I write these things to you in weakness. I don’t have all the answers. All I can say is that I would like to help you. In sharing my dreams and how I understand them it may help you to understand yours and help you to hear what the Spirit of God is saying to you through them.
Dreams involve our memories, our hearts desires and a whole lot more can be seen through them and in them. If you want to progress forward in life it might be worth taking note of them. I mean that both figuratively and literally. I make note of mine sometimes in great detail other times just the essence depending on time.
Dreams and dream interpretation can be a daunting topic. I admit that I still get daunted by some of my dreams and what they mean yet I want to to understand them. I have been helped by reading some books on the subject. Really it comes down to taking time to pray, ponder and listen to what they’re saying and maybe with a close or understanding friend, share with them your dreams.
With some of my dreams I may have to work at interpreting them by praying through, considering maybe talking to others about them like I have suggested. Other times I may get an immediate sense of what the dream is about and I act on it. More often than not the understanding of the dream is somewhere between those two book ends.
My significant dreams are like pieces of living art. When I am in them I feel and see what is happening around me and in some cases participate in what is going on. At other times I may just observe what is happening within the dream.
I must say at this juncture that I so far have not had a literal dream. That is to say they do actually occur, I have come across people who have seen things happening in their dreams which have then later come true. Dreams more often than not are symbols, metaphors and bring encouragement, exhortation, warnings, instruction and counsel to us when our defences are down.
