Yesterday I witnessed some bird behaviour never seen before. I glanced up at our lawn to see a crow crouched down with wings stretched out flat either side and its tail was being worked from side to side rapidly – also flat, like a fan for about a minute. I then realised there was another crow near by who approached and then got on top. Of course the light dawned that’s what that was about! They flopped about a bit for a few seconds and then he got off and they continued ambling about the garden. Quite incredible how she enticed him. I don’t know what else to say. A wow moment!
